116 ) - stopping the daily struggles

Life has always has it ups and downs, but more laterly its been on the down side. I came from a child abuse home and managed to survive this far. I being holding down a good job for the past 15ys and not afraid to work for my keep.But Im finding life is becoming tuff and often finding myself looking for a new path to go down.
I wish i could find someone who was kind enough to give me that break in life to set me free from my daily battles in coping with finding those funds to keep my head above water I wish I could have my car, credit card payment off to allow me to move to the next stage of my life without these debits controling and suppressing me.. It would be nice to start saving for a home and could only success with this dream when my debits are payout...
I m sure life wasnt meant to be like this .. but its tuff to have to ask for help..

114 ) - Help to keep Onecer going!

Hi Andy,

My name is Paul, and first off may I congratulate you on your vision and diligence - Next off, I want to let you know that my partner and I (along with a couple of other colleagues), are in the process of setting up a very similar trading / exchange endeavour in the UK called IndividualsCAN (Individuals Creating Abundance Network) - for which funding WILL be available.

IndividualsCAN is set up on a different business model than the Oncer Exchange in that it relies on the participants tithing a nominal percentage of their profit margin for each transaction and our business model stacks up. - It also rewards its members at the end of each month for trading with each other! (and no, this is NOT an MLM!).

Furthermore, it also incorporates an established and successful local leaflet directory scheme to service the local offline community. In effect we are creating an online and offline directory for many nuclei of local intra-trading/exchanging communities, which allows members to also trade outside of their locality.

We have spent considerable time and effort going down blind alleys in getting to grips with various Content Management Systems to get what we want to work (including Typo3 - forget it!) and have finally settled on using a CMS called Postnuke which can do pretty much everything we want for our pilot scheme.

Andy - you have done what we are trying to set up! Both of us are coming from the same place on different sides of the planet - I think we should talk about the possibility of teaming up somehow We do not want to have to re-invent the wheel if we don't have to!

I had a page up on my partner's website www.msmotivator.com briefly explaining IndividualsCAN but I had to take it off the main Nav bar as we had a series of set backs trying to get to grips with the CMS systems.

Given that everyone has luck and everyone's luck is different, there should be a way to buy someone's luck. Luck is one of those mysterious things that everyone dream about (for example, I'd rather be lucky than good). We blame bad luck on all of our problems and often credit someone's good fortune and successes to good luck. So doesn't it make sense to have a place where you can get luck and possibly change your luck? I propose an good luck exchange for luck. One of the differences is that there would have to be a way to quantify a person's luck. After that, people can buy and sell luck from each other. For example, if I was having a hard time finding a date, I could buy some luck. If I was not feeling well, I could buy some luck. If I wanted croissants on the halfbakery, I would buy luck. Get it?
