130 ) - i donot belive it

my husband is a veteran he got back pay for disiabilty first social security and i found out a year later he told them i abandion our son. so he was getting the money when i found out he was'nt even giving my son any monies so now he gets veteran benefits and he got a lump sum payment of over fifty thousand and guess what when i went to apply for the champ health insursance that they provide dependants on his app. it states he is not married and have no children we remain to live together he donot know but one of the bankers said you must have hit the lottery . i said i wish she said your husband open you guys a new direct deposit account and i thought you were coming in to put your signature on the account after i was shown the amount i said i,ll do it later that was dec 15 th he has not told me but he got a loan and got a new truck and a custom made grill for the front of the truck. music put in he bought a new couch and chair set for the living room but he tells me its a loan. he donot know i know .

129 ) - Ah, but for a taste of recognition!

It begins way back when I was just a little girl, locked in her room with nothing to do but draw whatever there was to be seen from her small window in the upstate New York countryside. As the years passed, I found a deep love of natures beauty, wonder and magic, and a strong desire to re-create it on canvas, with mediums such as oil, acrylic, and watercolors. Over the years, I have sold several of my works, and have lost count of all the works I simply gave away to dear friends or family members. Lately, however, I have discovered a growing desire to find recognition for my gift of art in the mainstream artworld, and seem to end up banging against walls everywhere. It is a bit difficult to watch art auctions on television, knowing that my skills are equal to many of the great masters, and that I will never fully realize my dream of one day seeing my works up there before the world of collectors. If anyone out there sees this little post, and feels they can help me realize my dream of dreams, please feel more than welcome to email me.

128 ) - Sooooo many problems

I am overwhelmed by my husband's mental health problems. He is violent paranoid schizophrenic and has OCD. One doctor says that even though it is impossive to have both schizophrenia and multiple personality disorder that my husband shows signs of both and may have a dominant personality who is schizophrenic and another personality who doesn't. I have tried to compensate by being superwoman, but it is killing me. I have insomnia and have gained 50 lbs from overeating due to stress. Tonight, I was driving and the gate for the train started coming down. I started to gun my engine, but was afraid that I might purposely stop my car on the tracks. I had actually back my car away from the tracks and turn off the engine before I felt safe. Now I fear that I also will have to go into a mental health facility, leaving our children in foster care.

127 ) - mother of two needs help getting there life back.

Hello, my name is Kim. I am a mother of two wonderful children adhd/add/odd. When I was growing up I was abused by my adopted father my whole life. So, as an adult I have spiraling out of control trying to make life work for me and my kids. Needless to say I am on my fourth marriage. It is failing. I have went from one abusive relationship to another. I am in counseling just by the skin of my teeth because we are on a state funded insurance. I can barely keep my job because of my sever depression/ptsd/diabetis. Or if I am not sick my kids are having trouble with there health and I need to be at home with them. I need to get away from this relationship very badly. He has started shoving me around and we don't have the money to leave to start over. We have one car and he will take it from me also. It is in his name. My goal in life is to get back to college so I can get a good job that will provide for me and my children. I am hoping someone will find it in there heart and help us. I need enough money to movey away from where we are and to another state. I also need a car and money to get us a place to live. Just until I can get a job. I would love to start a candle/bath salt business. I can make that stuff. I am really good at it. That is my goal also someday to open a store like that. I would also like to help women and families that come from battered and abused backgrounds. I know what is like to be alone and have no help. I would even sign a letter of agreement to pay back anything anyone could help with. I have never done this before but I do not know what else to do. I prayed about it and it led me here. 126 ) - We've been through it............

My husband and I have been married for 13 years now, but didn't know if we were going to make it past 3 years. During the later part of the 3rd year, we finally figured out that there was something deeper going on. My husband had testing done and found out that he has primative brain seisures which contributed to anti-social and depression. He had been on medications for years through my work place insurance, and been doing better. When things got rough at home, work made it harder also, by reluctantly giving me what I was intitled to, family leave, and telling me I needed to get my priorities in order. From the pressure at work, I found myself having a mental breakdown and having to go on disability now for 2 years. I'm trying to get back to school, but live with the fear that if I go back, my disability will be taken away. They say they work with you, but we've been through it before with my husband, having his taken away when he went back to school, stating that if he could go to school, he could work. Not the same thing, anyone with depression can tell you. We pay our bills, barely, and are raising a young daughter also. It would just be nice to have our bills paid off so we could have breathing room. To be able to afford food and not to have to do without in order to do so. We recieve no help other than disabilty, because they say we make to much. Go figure.
We all, as parents, want our children to do better than we have. We would love to be able to have our bills paid off so I could concentrate on going back to school to have a profession and not just a job. To be able to think about and enjoy our family, without the worry of the not knowing if you're going to be able to keep on paying off your bills. We don't have as many bills compared to most people out there and would appreciate all help to get to our goal. Which is again, to be able to concentrate on our family(children and grandchildren) to have all our bills paid in full, so we could have a nice life on the disability we recieve, and for us to go back to school without the pressure of not knowing if our disability is going to be taken away. Then creating the problem of losing everything, that when we were able to work, worked hard to get.
I know there are others out there wondering if there are people who could help. I believe the answer is YES, but do they or will they is the only question left unanswered. I hope to be able to write another story telling of the help that we recieved. And in the future of help that we maybe able to give.
