144 ) - Christian Lady Needs Assistance

I am a Christian lady, 49 years of age and have raised three children. Many times, I have struggled and cried out to God and he has always answered me.


My childhood was very rocky, to say the least. My mother was an alcoholic and had emotional problems as well. We moved around a lot, so I never really had a stable home enviroment. My mom and dad divorced when I was very young, and she married a man who was physically abusive to her. So my sisters and I were subjected to violence daily. As a result I winded up marrying an mentally abusive man. We stayed married for fifteen years, and then I left with three children to raise on my own. I had no formal education, so I took whatever job I could get. By the grace of God, I did get them raised, and they turned out to be very special people. Two of them are not saved, but I know that that will change in time.


I was saved and baptised in a small Baptist church in Louisiana during bible school when I was about 12. Because of all the turmoil in my life as a child, I didn't attend church anymore after that. As an adult, married to an abusive man, I did try to attend church, but my husband wouldn't go and he became angry if I went. So I quit trying. It wasn't until after the divorce that I started seeking God again and he led me to a spirit filled church. Over the past several years, I began to realize that God had placed a calling on my life. I prayed that God would use me in whatever capacity that he wanted. Eventually, I realized that I had a gift to be able to talk to people and encourage them, so long story short, I took a Christian Coaching course from the Chrisitan Coaching Institute taught by Faith Meenan. Awesome lady! I finished about 6 months ago, and have been coaching several people. It does take time to really build a practice, but I know God will use me in this area. I believe he will use this gift in other areas as well.

I was diagnosed with severe osteroporosis, the bone thinning disease about 5 years ago, and recently it has really affected my teeth. They are pretty bad. That is why I decided to put together this site. I have no dental insurance, and no money. I work at a regular as a telemarketer for Direct Tv, but don't make much, only enough to live on. They don't offer dental insurance. I can't take out a loan due to past credit problems. My children can't help because they just don't have it. This problem is going to effect my overall heath if I don't do something soon. I need all of my teeth pulled and get dentures. I am not one to ask for money from anyone. I have always tried to make it own my own. I have in the past have had to ask for help, and it really made me feel bad. A pastor told me once that I shouldn't feel bad to ask for help.


God gave me a vision a while back that I was going to work beside my husband who is in the ministry in some capacity, and we will bring souls to Christ. I believe that my coaching will play a part in that. I have been divorce for 17 years now, because I will not marry someone who is not a Christian. I am still waiting for that husband that I know God has for me. My deepest desire and longing is to lead others to Christ and do some workshops or something. That would require being in front of people, which I don't have a probem with other that I feel really self consious about my teeth being in such bad shape. Recently a coworker and I were talking and I was telling him about my coaching. He happens to be a producer for a program done locally here called "Truth of the Matter". It is a Christian talk program that airs on a local channel. He wants be to be a guest. I am on one hand thrilled, of course, but I just don't feel I can do it because of my teeth. I know that if I could get exposure, I could build my client base. Of couse that would help me financially, but the most important thing to me is being able to help people. There are a lot of Christians out there who are struggling so much maybe because of things from their past, and I feel that I have so much to give.


I have checked out dental schools, and all they do is preventive care. I have also checked out a local charity clinic, but there is a two year waiting list. I am afraid that it won't wait that long.


I have been in prayer for God to show me the answer to get the funds I need to have my teeth done. If there is anyone who could maybe search their hearts, and pray about this, and would like to donate anything at all, I know that God will bless you for it.
The costs for pulling all of my teeth and the dentures is about $2500.


Update: I went to the dentist today and got an estimate on the work. It is worse than I thought. He estimated the cost to be $2740.00. So, if anyone out there wants to donate anything at all, even the smallest amount would be appreciated.

143 ) - Good life, short money

Just recently my husband has been hounded by his credit card companies. Before we were married, he had a good job and could pay his bills. But the company he worked for closed its doors and moved their operations either overseas or to central america or mexico. For a while he was unemployed, but found a job. He is making a little more than half of what he was. I love him so much and would love for us to continue on without worries of bankruptcy or collections or garnishments. I just pray that God will send some help for us in this time of need.

141 ) - Wishing & Praying

I'm 34 years old individual women that always wish and prays every night on having some luck. All I want out of life is to have a good stable career so that I could take my parents out for a vacation or for dinner, a nice house because I could have all my nieces and nephew sleeping over, a reliable car to haul everyone anywhere at any given time, some money save for an emergency, and to be a happier person who can give out a helping hand to the homeless, the elderly, the sick children, and the animals. This is all I've been wishing and praying for a long time and it hasn't happened. Maybe if I just wrote down what my wishes are maybe someone out there could help me out. I couldn't ask for anything more. Thank you for reading this. May the lord bless you on everything you do.
