I am posting this wish to give the principles of intention, as discussed by Wayne Dwyer in his most recent book, a try. Not to mention wishful thinking, la-la land, stupidity, too-good-to-be-true,and a host of other principles that I won't even discuss here. Somehow, I don't think Dr. Dwyer would think much of this approach... Still, wouldn't this make for a great story if something actually came of this!

Alright. Here's my wish: I wish for an angel investor who is willing to donate capital of at least $650,000 to expand my practice to provide clinical services to children with developmental delays, children and families in the neglect/abuse system, juvenile offenders, and professional athletes 21 and under who are at risk for violent and addictive behaviors due to the stress associated with their careers.

I need for the funding to operate like the tradition McArthur(sp?) Foundation "genius" grants... in other words, with no strings attached...just a belief that this is a worthwhile project that will actually make a difference...

I wish that I knew how to help myself. I want to be a better person, a better mother, and I want to eventually be able to help other people with the same problems I had. I am not sick. I am not disabled. I think I'm depressed. I can't motivate myself to do much. I have all these bright ideas and talent that I'm letting go to waiste because I can't or won't get up. I'm only 27 years old. I am single and I have two children. I want better for myself and definitly for my kids but I need help. Lately I've been looking for odd jobs, such as housekeeper, personal assistant or something data entry from home. I have been totally unsuccessful. I want to make a living for myself. I just have all the ways of getting things done that have totally failed. I need help. I am not really asking for a handout but mabey someone who might have been in my siuation. Mabey someone who felt like there was no hope for them, and the someone helped them to get on their feet and continue living. I know a lot of people out there have some bad problems and I came to this site tonight trying to find a way to fix my own. I started reading and reading and as I went by each one my heart began to beat harder. I knew there was a lot of suffering in the world but reading things like that reminds me of how great my life is. Sure I have heartache but I decide to give my wish away. My wish is that everyone on this site whose heart is pure and whose wish is honest, may receive their wish and that things get better. Everyone who feels bad and posts wishes on this site, please remember places like iraq where some people have no water to drink, or africa where children die of aids every day. There are a lot of things that would make our lives easier, but no matter how bad life is and how depressed you are, there is always something worse happening to someone else. Be thankful for what you have and keep wishing, because some day your wish may come true!

We are actually chained down by certain issues or feelings from our wish past or present. Let's walk through the process of shining the "flashlight" deep wish down inside yourself so you can begin to change. After all, how can you fix something if you don't even know what you're trying to fix? It's impossible. We need to know exactly what wish is weighing us down so we can shake it loose. Anyway, back to the wish test list. Now that I?ve identified the negative emotion driving my wish resistance, it?s important to fully welcome that feeling and allow it to be there, to not run from it. The only way to dissolve negative wish feelings, especially fear, is to become aware of them in a non-threatening way. Sometimes this action alone is enough to melt these negative thoughts and emotions, especially when the allowing them to surface momentarily in a therapeutic way becomes a habit. Further work is done by asking myself if I could possibly let go of that feeling. Would I rather be stuck with it or be free of it? If I?d rather be free of it, then I ask myself if I could let it go right now. Fascinatingly , as easily as you can let go of an wish you?re gripping in your hand, you can learn to let go of emotions that you are gripping such as fear, resistance, etc. » Make a wish

You can see for yourself that this is a true fact - just pick up a small object such as a pen and grip it tightly in your hand. The pen represents your negative and uncomfortable wish feelings. The hand represents your awareness, your inner self. Now tighten your grip on the pen. Is the pen attached to you? Of course not. So then, could you let it go? Try just let it go so it falls to the floor. Were you able to do it? Here's the point of the demonstration: our emotions are not attached to us, though they sometimes feel so much a part of us that they seem attached. Don't we say I am so angry or I am so scared to make wish? In reality we feel angry or feel scared we are not that emotion. Sometimes a long-standing emotion seems so stuck to us that we couldn?t possibly be free of it. BUT that is not true. Do you know what a definition of emotion is? Energy in motion. That?s it. Nothing else. Energy in motion is not attached to anything because it's in motion. And anything that isn?t attached can be let go of, right?! So in reality we have the power to let go of any emotion, especially when it comes to resistance to doing what we know is right and what we want to do deep down. I keep working on all of this stuff until I feel either a sense of I CAN do this! and/or a feeling of wish. » Wish list

Next I make a wish list. I read the wish list again and think of an action I can take to achieve the wish. I notice the very first feeling I have about that specific action step, and write down what negative emotion is driving each negative feeling. (Once again, if I'm having trouble identifying the emotion, repeating the statement more loudly until something from my past pops up and then doing the allowing and letting go process works very well to dissolve negative feelings and resistance.) I do this on each action step until I get a feeling of I CAN or of peace and until I run out of wish actions. » Wish center

Last but not least I then visualize my wish. What will it be like when I have reached this wish? I actually imagine myself living those wishes, making a movie in my head painting as vivid a picture as I can of it by engaging all my senses in the visualization. What?s my life like? What am I wish? What am I doing? What?s different from the way it is now? Then I write all of that down on paper.

Things always clarify by doing this wish test, and I?m often shocked at what I discover is the bottom line reason I haven?t been able to wish and do what I want to wish anddo! I can almost guarantee you'll discover the same surprises.

If you could take a wonder wish and have it do ANYTHING, what would you want it to do? Quick - what's the very first thing that pops into your mind? Some people have answered this question with "lose weight" or "make me have more money" or "give me a perfect marriage" and so on. My answer to that question was "to grant me a calmer spirit and better insight into myself and others." Well, tens of thousands of people like myself have found this "wonder wish" of sorts ... and so can you.

After coming to the realization that I am fed up with living below the poverty line, I decided to take on the challenge of figuring out how to get rich with no money. I've been searching the internet for approximately three weeks now and have learned a lot, but I have not figured out anything other than others will give you a method, a business or some mentoring if you give them some of that which I'm seeking to obtain...MONEY!!!

Most endeavors that I have pursued in life I have managed to be successful at, so I figure it's only a matter of time. However, I feel like I'm searching for a needle in a giant haystack and with a blindfold on!!! I only want to take my family on a trip to Disneyland, take myself on a trip to Florence and to accumulate and maintain a great deal of wealth to provide a luxurious lifestyle for myself and my family because we have been poor for much too long!!!

I would also like to be able to leave a positive impact on this world, as I have a lot of positive ideas that I would like to see implemented to make this world a better place. Anyways, these are the reasons that have landed me here today. Therefore,...I wish that I will become extremely rich really soon through the results of my tiresome and dedicated hours spent in my pursuit of wealth, in order that I may provide a wonderful life for my family and that I may change this world for the better in some form or fashion.
