I wish that I would recieve computer equuipment that would accomodate my eyes in that I have ocular histoplasmosis.
I have been trained to become a medical transcriptionist and a preventive medicine educator.
I read well with 20/20 vision with my eyes, yet I cannot read for long periods of time, therefore I need adaptive technology.
I also need a laptop.

I know a lot of people out there have some bad problems and I came to this site tonight trying to find a way to fix my own. I started reading and reading and as I went by each one my heart began to beat harder. I knew there was a lot of suffering in the world but reading things like that reminds me of how great my life is. Sure I have heartache but I decide to give my wish away. My wish is that everyone on this site whose heart is pure and whose wish is honest, may receive their wish and that things get better. Everyone who feels bad and posts wishes on this site, please remember places like iraq where some people have no water to drink, or africa where children die of aids every day. There are a lot of things that would make our lives easier, but no matter how bad life is and how depressed you are, there is always something worse happening to someone else. Be thankful for what you have and keep wishing, because some day your wish may come true!

Where to start....
Lost my job last year after the birth of our son, unemployment ran out and we got behind on the house payment. I have a good job now, and the mortgage company has made arrangements to pay extra each month to get us caught up with our mortgage. But we just can't afford the $1400 a month payments, it is too much. Any help with that would be great, it will take about $5000 to get our mortgage caught up. That would be the greatest thing that could happen to us, with the mortgage on our credit report we cannot get financed for anything, and couldn't really afford it if we could because of the extra mortgage payments. I wish that we could get back to the payments that we used to have, so that we can ge ahead for once. We have no money saved, it seems like every last penny is spent. Anything extra that we have goes to things for our kids, even though they are usually small things. I am so lucky that my daughter is happy with a new color book and some crayons every now and then. Or putting all the paper that we would normally throw away at work in a binder for her to have paper to write on the back sides of, she loved that.
Second, I would love to be able to buy a new truck for my husband, not necessarily brand new, but new to us. We have one car and currently ride to work together, but soon he will have to be to work and be getting off work hours earlier than I, and we will not be able to commute together anymore. He really wants a new truck (1998 or newer, Dogdge Diesel, standard tranny, quad cab) so that he can pull a horse trailer to go for rides, our 3 year old daughter loves horses, and also to have a reliable vehicle to take a trip anywhere. Especially to work. We have a 13 year old chevy blazer that is on its last legs, would love something reliable. He works so hard and deserves a new truck, I just wish that I could get it for him.
I guess last, and not as important really, I would like a new laptop so that I can be more organized with our finances at home, but also be able to take it with me and work on things else where. Just a want, not a need really. Would love to start my own business someday, but need to save up the money first, and a laptop would be a good start for equipment.

I am just a 40 yr young man and my mother-in-law had been confined to home after losing her driving privleges and come to find out there are alot of older people with the same dilemma so what i really need is some used computers so that they can at least get on line and chat pay their bills and perscriptions i am helping elderly to get on line and if there is any out there that say you can't teach an old person (dog) a new trick havn't met some of my new old friends thanks if you can help

I am willing to exchange the total contents of my home, all items are in like new or excellent condition. I live in Detroit Michigan, My home is in foreclosure due to lost of a job it will be sold on 4-21-2004, I have lived here since 1981, raised all of my children in this home, I have always had the total responsibility of the up keep of the home even when I was with my husband we are now separated, he left. The home is still in the same condition the day I moved in. I need a home to live in before I lose this one, I have always loved the home atomosphere, I enjoy coming home each day just the thought of having a home, is enjoyable. When I am on my way home from school and work I think about how enjoyabe my home is, and look forward to it each day.I took time and patience in decorating my home, I paid cash for everything in the home. I am a person that has always put everyone before myself. I wish that I could, live in a neighborhood that is a community, because I enjoy people, I envision myself walking to the coffe shop, on sunday morning, I enjoy walking in beautiful surroundings,I enjoy community involvement. I am a quiet person. I am overly concerned for other people. I am a student in school at age 50. I put my dreams on hold for the safety of my children being home each day when they get there.

I never dreamnt in my life that my son would be placed into a situation that we are in right now. My fiancee has been suffering from Kidney Stones for the past 2yrs. In November 2003 he started having seizures, after being seizure free for the past 7 yrs. In January he was diagnosed with CANCER. I had to take a leave from work to take care of Ray and our 3 yr old son. We are now facing eviction and have nowhere or nobody to help us out. My wish is that someone find it in there heart to help this suffering family in need that the government, friends,and family don't seem to care what happens to. I pray everyday that somehow or somewhere we get the help we need to take care of our bills and get Ray to the doctors to get him healthy again. I will be praying everyday, and I know that it would take the stress level back down, instead of sky high.

For three years now myself and my wife have had this dark cloud hanging over us. Like the guy in the funny papers, every time he turned around somthing bad would happen. Well I"m that guy and its no laughing matter.We live right, help people in need,do all the things a good citizen should do,desent god fearing human beings and our prayers are answered with more bad luck. I started a home buisness a year ago,I have not made a dime from it,what I found out is that I could not sell water to a fish in a dried up pond. Financial ruin, I"m one step away. My wish is that one good thing would happen to my family and I just one day!

35 years working for what. we cant buy a thing or go aney where or die in peace. one pair of pants for 6 years.seven days a week for 13 dollars a day.nothing at 65 to look to. no apt.liveing in a cold basement.could go on and on. my wish is that my wife and i could be free from worry and could have a home.to be like others and live what is left. i am 64 now. wife looks to me.we are not free to come and go here day or night. they want ther 13 dollars a day worth from us. what hurts is they are all rich here who we work for. my wish is for one million dollars.

I am a single mother of 2 but that is nothing so special there are a million of us and more, but I wish with all my heart that I can continue to look after my 2 beautifull girls you see they do so much and get nothing except my love because that is all I have to give. I am in a financiall mess and if I don,t save at least 20 thousand dollars by the end of April 2004 the bank will take my home.
I haven't even got enough to buy food let alone take my girls on a holiday which they have never had. So my big wish is to have enough money to pay all of the bills and to live a great quality of life which my children so deserve.

My wish would be to take my 2 children on holiday, something they or i have ever had. I'm a single mum to a boy of 13 and a girl of 11, i myself am 31. While my daughter is a normal healthy and grumpy 11 year old my son is not so fortunate, at the age of six he was diagnosed as being clinically depressed, a short time after that he was found also to have A.D.H.D(attention deficit hyperactivity disorder). He has to take a lot of medication every day and I beleive that it's my job as his mum to give him all the care and attention he needs, along with all that i lost my job(i think for that reason). My telephones just been disconnected because i couldn't afford to pay the £300 bill and for me it's vital because on top of everything else i have asthma which often needs emergency medical treatment. I often go without to give my kids everything i can but on benefits thats rarely very much. Neither me or my kids have ever been further than Scotland(that's where we live) so it would be lovely to take them someplace hot and sunny, something that although very beautiful Scotland very rarely has.
