I wish and pray that our ministry would get enough donations to open a shelter for women; children; disabled vets; etc. There are over 1,045 homeless children registered in Volusia County and 2,700 adults. One of the homeless was trying to rest in the woods one day and 5 teenagers beat him to death; they returned to where he was trying to rest three times until he was beaten to death; they said they were bored. So, I wish and pray that Halifax urban Ministries would receive enough donations to open a shelter with case management in order to help homeless get jobs, financial security, then return them to society.
