Hi: My wish is for a house. I am a single mother with two wonderful kids ages 13, and 7. We have been living with my mother for the past four years. My income is not enough to purchase my own home. My mother is a wonderful person but my kids and I live in one bedroom. I work for the City of New Orleans and I don't make 20,000.00 a year. I have tried to find affordable housing but nothing has happened. I am very depressed about this situation and it hurts me very much that I cannot give my kids some of the things they want and deserve. So my greatest wish is for a home of my own.
